The Future of Infrastructure

AECOM was the managing partner of the O’Hare Airfield Engineers Joint Venture for the design of New Runway 10C-28C. This 10,800-foot-long (3,290 meters) by 200-foot-wide (61 meters) Group VI, CAT III runway is in the center of the existing south airfield.

The new runway was designed to accommodate the new generation of large air carrier aircraft such as the A-380 and the B-747-8.
